Storks Tower is crafted by Hijos de Antonio Barcelo, a century plus old bodega of Spain who have been winemakers and cultivators of quality wines since 1876. From the very beginning back in Malaga, H.A. Barcelo has built up a prestigious reputation for the quality of their wines. The estate got its name from the old chapel tower where storks have nested for over 100 years.
Striving to differentiate their products through quality, H.A. Barcelo has developed a portfolio of prestigious wineries, varietals and associated brands each adapted specifically for its own market. In addition, the building of brand leaders in each segment and the marketing of these brands globally has allowed them to remain competitive while continuing to develop successful new wines of quality.
Behind an epic story there is always a great figure. Behind Hijos Bacel? is Don Antonio Barcelo Madueno who dedicated his life to the creation and exportation of great wines along with the production of cordials, liquors and brandies.

His successes quickly allowed him to turn his business into one of the largest wine companies in Malaga at that time. His products were soon winning friends the world over and in recognition of his achievements, Barcel? received many diplomas and medals which are still held in the archives to this day.
