Big Vine Wines is a Napa-based cooperative of wine industry professionals. They produce appellation-specific, value-driven wines from the Napa Valley and beyond.

While they are based in the heart of downtown Napa's Oxbow District, they produce wines from various appellations in two different production facilities. The Napa Valley facility is a state-of-the-art certified winery that is home to their outstanding Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Carneros Chardonnay. Their facility in the Dry Creek Valley, just outside of Healdsburg, is 'Zinfandel Central'.

Big Vine is a concept that relies on deep roots. Their tightly-knit community of vendors, vineyard managers, winemakers and sales and marketing agents provides a progressive platform for value-creation in the wine business. The end result is an overwhelming sum of quality, appellation, value and style.

Owner, Andrew Siegal, is a New York native. He moved to wine country as an entrepreneur to introduce the concept of trade finance to the Napa Valley Wine Industry. Liquid Trade Solutions was founded over a decade ago to provide alternative financing options to wineries throughout California. The relationships Andrew has built over the years through Liquid Trade Solutions afforded him the fortuitous opportunity that lead to the first bottling of Big Vine Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in 2009. Since that first acclaimed vintage, Andrew's breadth of wine industry contacts and depth of experience have come together in the appellation-characteristic, value-driven wines that are Big Vine.

Kent Jarman is the Director of Winemaking and Vineyard Sourcing. Kent was born in the culturally rich environment of South Louisiana. Music, food and wine have defined his environment from an early age. His grandfather managed a wine distribution business and his mother was known to many as the "Queen of Creole". He found himself constantly drawn to music spilling from the open doors of downtown New Orleans.

As a viticulture and enology graduate of U.C. Davis, Kent went from internships at J Winery and Spring Mountain Winery to Duckhorn Wine Company. Kent currently manages all matters of winemaking for Big Vine Wines.

Our selection is a big style Zin full of ripe berry fruit and spice. We love this style as it is full bodied yet not over the top with extract and alcohol. A must have with spare ribs in a smoky barbecue sauce.
