  • Q & A

In 1897, Theophile Querre, created his wine company buying bulk juice from other producers, blending them and selling them to his growing trade. In 1909, he purchased his first vineyard in Pomerol and created a second company with his sons, Daniel and Christian. In 1973, their respective oldest sons Alain and Michel took the succession of both companies. In 1995, in order to optimize their growth and give more power to their position in the market, the two companies decided to join together to found only one Querre Company under the management of Michel Querre.

In 2007, Michel Querre sold the company but has been retained as manager and a new story starts with a new organization. Always looking for the best relation price-quality, the company has continued to grow and prosper.

With a team of 60 employees, Michel Querre is regularly expanding due to his excellent management skills and a policy based on close relationships with grape growers. The company is now represented in all the major countries in the world.

Bordeaux, the world's greatest fine wine region, is a living patchwork of towns, villages, vineyards and ch?teaux. This historic region speaks of culture, architecture, of generations of aristocrats, merchants and peasants. But to the world beyond, it speaks of one export above all others: wine. It seems as though the entire area follows one common goal: the production of a unique wine of quality dedicated to the art of civilized living.

Bordeaux is a name that evokes both the grandeur of wine at its best. Quietly evolving and constant in the wine industries of the New World from California to Australia.

Though known primarily for its red wine, it is the whites that can truly turn heads as much as any of the great whites in the world. Our selection is the classic blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon. Those two grapes flourish here as they do no other corner of the world. They can take on a character all their own and this is no exception. From the very first hint of aroma, you know this is different. Lovely white nectarine and citrus abound and deposit themselves all over your palate. Would be divine with seared scallops.
