Front Runner's Cabernet Sauvignon is the creation of the Miller Family from Central Coast Wine Services. Their location actually houses several wineries under one roof, sharing equipment and labor to offset the cost of production. This creates an efficient environment, plus access to affordable state of the art equipment.

Most wineries have one press that everything gets made in it. Here, they have several and can designate one press for either reds, whites, or anything in between! Having that kind of specialized equipment can really go a long way and it shows in the product.

The winery can be found in the much cooler climate of Santa Barbara County. The climate allows the grapes to hang onto the vines longer, thus extracting more flavor-enhancing nutrients from the soil. The region makes use of traditional techniques and new-age methods, it isone of the leaders in cutting-edge technologies for growing grapes and making wine. This combination between old and new is one of the many reasons their wines are so spectacular.

This wine is the perfect culmination of smarts and savvy, taking advantage of what Mother Nature gives you and making an incredible expression of the raw product.

The selection is a dense, brooding, and powerful Cabernet - the likes of which we would expect to see from warmer climates like Napa. The flavors explode on the palate and the structure carries thatexplosion to every crevice of the palate, depositing lusciousness with every drop.
