February 2018 Classic, Limited and Vintners Series Wine Tasting
Dear Wine Lover,
Talk about pedigree winemaking! Here's an incredible interview with Résonance Vineyard's celebrated winemaker, Jacques Lardière. Why is he such a legend? Because for 30 years, Monsieur Lardière was the head winemaker for the great Louis Jadot, one of the most revered wine estates in Burgundy, France. That means he was directly responsible for us pouring some very fine wine into our glasses over the years.
Now, he's come out of retirement to head Résonance in Yamhill, Oregon, and we couldn't be more delighted.
Salud!
Chalk Hill's Pinot Noir might not be the color you expect, but it's classic Pinot, through and through.
Featuring two very different, indicative and expressive wines from the lesser-known Duché d'Uzès A.O.C. in France.
Campalazard's Cabernet is an unexpected find with superb, balanced fruitiness. Cleebourg's Riesling is an Alsace beauty.
