Grgich Gift

This Cab lovers' Merlot is primarily from cool climate grapes with a velvety texture that make your taste buds ask for more!

Grgich's Merlot is grown in both their cooler American Canyon and Carneros vineyards and their warmer Yountville vineyard. They blended Merlot from all three vineyards to create a balanced, robust wine that combines the richness and depth from the warmer climates and perfume and bright fruitiness from the cooler climates. Committed to natural winegrowing and sustainability, they farm their five estate vineyards without artificial fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides, and they are certified organic.

This exquisite Merlot opens with plum, rose hip, blood orange, fresh peach and cherry in the nose, with undertones of laurel and dried orange peel. Flavors of juicy red fruit explode on the palate, and an uplifting freshness carries the mid-palate with complex and dense tannins, plenty of fruit and a soft transition to a lush, lingering aftertaste. Well-balanced acidity and a silky tannin structure on this young wine leaves plenty of room for many years of aging.

Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon Gift

The Hope family has been farming in Paso Robles for more than 30 years. When they arrived in this barely-discovered region, they planted apples and grapes. Little did they know that the rolling, oak-studded terrain of Paso Robles would one day become a viticultural terroir of significance and one of the top wine-growing regions for quality red wine within the Central Coast.

Their Cabernet Sauvignon has become a mainstay of curated cellars around the world and continues in popularity each year. Though Cabernet Sauvignon does well in Paso Robles, many winemakers love the way the region handles Rhone varietals such as Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. The Austin Hope Grenache is an amazing expression of the grape grown across the globe in a completely different terroir. An incredible gift for any wine enthusiast.
