How Red & White Wines Are Made
How do you make wine? Are red and white wines processed differently? The basic procedure is as follows: Grow and harvest some grapes, crush and press them into a juice, ferment the juice into alcohol, remove unwanted particles, store the newly-made wine, and then bottle it to be sold. As it turns out, though, the winemaking process is as much of a science as it is an art. You'll discover all this and more as a member of the Original and Only Wine of the Month Club. |
