We are pleased to present another selection from the Bronco Wine Company, one of the oldest and most respected wineries in the country. The most important thing we look at to judge a company is their employees. We look at how long those employees have been with the company. Bronco's record is nothing short of amazing.

Bronco is the 7th largest winery in the U.S., producing more than 10 million cases of wine per year. That's almost 30,000 per day. Their size and scope necessitate that they have many employees. One of them is winemaker, Bob Stashak, who has been with Bronco for over 26 years. Like many of the winemakers at Bronco, Bob has his specialties. Chardonnay is one of them.

What we are impressed with most here is that the winemaker is given a lot of latitude in crafting the wine. They don't want all their wines to taste the same and neither do we. In this case, Stashak uses just a touch of oak to add complexity to the wine, but not dominate it. His careful blending allows the full flavors of the grape to stand out.

The integration of flavors is seamless and include green and red apple mixed with banana, quince, and pineapple. The balanced acidity makes it a perfect fit for challenging foods like a spicy Cioppino, orange chicken with fried rice, or our tuna Genovese recipe included with your wine.
