O'Neill Vintners and Distillers was founded in 2004 by Jeff O'Neill, with the purpose of creating unrivaled relationships that would successfully build brands and businesses. Since its founding, O'Neill Vintners has pursued this goal by building a company that strives for continuous improvement. Their vineyards and facilities allow them to meticulously focus on crafting quality premium wines at any scale, boasting complete control of their wines from grape to bottle. Today they are one of the fastest-growing wineries in California and have a reputation as one of the top premium wine and spirits producers in the industry.

Located in the Central Valley, their state-of-the-art facility gives them the tools to combine traditional winemaking techniques with the newest winemaking technology. As a company, they have produced over 15 million gallons of wine, crushing 200,000 tons of grapes a year. One of O'Neill's wines, this Spur Ranch Sauvignon Blanc, comes from idyllic vineyard in Central California. With cattle roaming the countryside, more horse-crossing signs than stoplights, and easy access to farm fresh produce, a visit to these vineyards may feel like stepping back in time. Rooted in farming and livestock, the community carries on the rich agricultural legacy that has anchored the region's winemaking success. Winemaker Steven Decosta leads a team of talented young winemakers who focus on creating wines with character that come from premier appellations and fruit.

This Sauvignon Blanc honors the rich ranching tradition and small-town rural charm of California winemaking. It has vibrant flavors of grapefruit, lemon, and subtle herbaceous and grassy characteristics. Pair this wine with grilled garlicky prawns or fried soft-shell crab. It will also pair nicely with roast chicken and herbs, or an asparagus quiche. For an aperitif, pair with goat cheese or a cucumber dill yogurt salad.
