Harlow Ridge is part of the Bronco Wine Company portfolio founded in 1973 by Fred T., Joseph S. and John Franzia. The mission of this family-owned winery was a commitment to growing, producing and selling the finest quality wines. Their diverse selection is sold in over 90 countries worldwide in addition to being distributed throughout the United States.

Bronco Wine Company is a major wine source to the California wine industry providing bulk wine from their impressive number of vineyards. They are currently the fifth largest winery and the largest vineyard owner in the US. Lodi is located in a unique area between the Sierra Nevada foothills and the San Francisco Bay. It is very different from its neighbors to the North and South as it has a direct channel to the Bay, which offers a cooling influence that none other can match. The area also attracts a new generation of vintners who see the opportunities for crafting great wines while setting down their own roots in a nurturing environment.

Petite Sirah was so named because it was thought to be related to Syrah, the great grape of the Northern Rhone. It has since been identified as Durif, a Provence varietal with no special attributes, except when it is grown in California. Its large presence has become a favorite of wine fans all over the world. Red plum and currants mixed with spice and pepper is a natural for our baby back pork ribs recipe included.
