Though she went there to work in a brewery, their shared passion of wine took over and soon she moved back to the US with Rob. They decided to import the wines they loved in Australia and in so doing created a dynamic importing company. Apparently, the wines they loved from there were also wines everybody else loved as well.

Bi-coastal must be tough enough, but bi-hemisphere? Well, that's what they did. Buying property and planting vineyards in Australia and California while raising kids and heritage chickens sounds like the stuff superheroes are made of, but superhero wine? Got that too!

This beauty came from Lake County, one of the best kept secrets in California wine. It is squeezed between Mendocino and Napa, and has the best of both, but doesn't get the recognition. That's fine with us as the prices reflect that and if this beauty carried a Napa appellation, it would cost a lot more.

Here is all the spice, fresh herbs, white stone fruit and more that comes with the territory and begs for cracked crab with garlic aioli or shrimp tacos with cilantro.
