All or Nothing pretty much says it all when it comes to this wine, its name and its packaging. First off, the winery's name is Tank Garage Winery. That has to make you stop and think, even if it is in Napa's hallowed ground of Calistoga.

The concept was to put the money in the grapes, not in a fancy winery and such. The idea started in the fanciest of all wine areas, Bordeaux. The term "garagistes" was born, and when the press started anointing them with accolades, it caught on and is now seen all over the world.

Where better to advance this concept than in Napa? These guys went a step further and actually built a winery that looks like a garage! Fortunately, while all this frivolity is fun and frolicsome, at least they take their wine seriously.

This is one of those shake-your-head blends. Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon is not that much of a stretch. But then you add Petite Sirah and Malbec, and you, well, shake your head.

Of course, it works crazy well here, and since it's made in a "garage," the price is way under what the taste says it should be. After all, the grapes did come from Napa and were aged for 14 months in 45% New Oak (70/30 French to American).

The flavors are diverse and yet cohesive, offering gorgeous fruit and soil with a mesmerizing finish. We're coming down on the side of ALL. Nothing spared.
