Yount Mill House wines are the latest release by Napa Valley producer, Pozzan Family Winery. Named after their Oakville home on the border of Yountville, Yount Mill House showcases the complex yet resounding character of Napa fruit. The soil content and climate of the Napa Valley makes it one of the world's most premier growing regions.

Michael Pozzan creates wines that capture the best of the varietals he blends, vintage after vintage. His long-time experience with growers from premier Napa and Sonoma allows him to seek out and hand-select exceptional fruit each growing season. Los Carneros is at the southern tip of the Napa Valley where it is met by water. The cool climate along with the rich soil makes this Napa based Carneros Pinot Noir a treat with its limited production.

The 2018 Yount Mill House Pinot Noir begins with a clean and enticing nose of raspberries, delicate rose petal, and cardamom. On the palate, the wine is weighty and soft, with flavors layered in a complex matrix of ripe raspberry, milk chocolate, charred French oak, and creme brulee. The soft finish sings with vanilla bean. This wine is complex and delicate. Enjoy this wine with a cheese plate including goat cheese or feta cheese and mild pork dry sausage. Pair this wine with grilled citrus marinated salmon, or roasted duck breast with mushrooms and garlic. For a vegetarian option, pair with a coconut curry pumpkin soup.
