RouteStock is the work of Wilson Daniels, one of the most successful and revered wine importers in the world. It was founded over 40 years ago by two corporate wine executives, Win Wilson and Jack Daniels, to escape the rat race of pushing sales instead of quality. Both had superb experience and many contacts at their disposal.

One by one, they convinced many of the finest wineries in the world that they would represent them in the way they wanted to be represented. And they did. Today their portfolio looks like a who's who of the top wine estates from France to Italy, Hungary, New Zealand and the United States.

It was only a matter of time before they decided to build their own brand as they had done for so many others and RouteStock is the result of that decision. But, like their import philosophy, it was built on presenting the highest quality.

They know something about Pinot Noir as they represent Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, considered the greatest Burgundy in the world. They chose the Sonoma Coast, a place where the cool ocean influence keeps the grapes on the vines longer, allowing them to slowly mature and complex.

As is the custom with most Pinot Noir producers, several different clones were used for our selection, each bringing its own special nuance to the blend. The result is a stunning expression of Pinot Noir that is sure to rock when served with roast quail or Scottish salmon.
