Peter Paul Wines is headed by none other than a man named Peter Paul. He began his career in a totally different business, as most do that end up in the wine industry. Peter earned his undergrad Business Administration degree at the University Of New Hampshire (UNH) and his MBA at Boston College. He then headed straight for Northern California where, for 40 years, he was in the mortgage business.

We all know what wine treasures Northern California holds. It wasn't long before Peter was canvasing the wine country and tasting wine. In 1999, he and a friend founded Grove Street Winery with the focus on producing premium wines at affordable prices. While successful with the winery, Peter folded Grove Street to help with fundraising for his many philanthropic efforts, which includes his Headlands Foundation to help underprivileged children. In 2013, he also financially supported the establishment of the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at UNH, which quickly became one of the top 100 undergraduate business schools in the country.

While engaged with his community work, Peter was maintaining his wine interest as well. He became obsessed with Pinot Noir, which is easy to do when you're in Sonoma. He sources he grapes from premium vineyards in the coolest areas of the Sonoma Coast and the Russian River to deliver wines of beauty and distinction. Our selection is nothing less. It shows off the light, airy side of Pinot Noir, but with a persistent edge of wild strawberry, cherry, spice and mint. Peter's precision in business is matched only by his precision in wine.
