Danica Patrick is known to millions as a trailblazer in American open-wheel racing. She broke barriers as a fierce competitor in the male dominated world of motor sports. Now retired from the track, Danica is embracing other challenges, on the road to becoming a world-class winemaker. She discovered her love of wine, particularly French varietals like Chablis and Sancerre, during her racing days in England. She purchased a vineyard in Napa Valley and started her own wine label, Somnium. Danica Rose is the newest expression of this passion.

The south of France produces some of the world's best wines, where nearly two-thirds of the region is dedicated entirely to rose; so, it made sense that in her quest to create the best possible French rose for American consumers, Danica turned to Provence. She built an all-star winemaking team that includes 100-point winemakers and Les Vins Margnat, a family whose winemaking tradition dates back to the French Revolution.

Danica's partnership with the Margnat family is the foundation of Danica Rose, an approachable wine produced in the traditional Proven?al style. It is fragrant, dry, and medium bodied. This wine offers luscious, vibrant notes of crisp white peach, fresh-cut melon, tart strawberry, hibiscus, and lime blossom. Complemented by perfect minerality, balanced acidity, and a refreshing finish, Danica Rose earns its status as a versatile wine. This wine is all about bringing people together at the dinner table, pair with a classic Ni?oise salad or a grilled vegetable plate with fresh herbs. This rose will pair well with seafood dishes, from spicy crudo to bouillabaisse. For something simpler, pair this with roast chicken with rosemary or ratatouille.
