Lifevine Wines is attuned to recent trends in wine. It is committed to providing wine that is entirely free of pesticides and other industrial and commercial contaminants. Although this is undoubtedly true of many great winemakers new and old, Lifevine takes this commitment further by having their wines independently sampled and tested in a lab. These efforts have garnered much attention and notable accolades, including the Clean Label Project Purity Award and the Clean Label Project Antioxidant Superiority Award. In addition to Lifevine's contaminant-free wine, these wines also stay clear of additives and sugar.

Behind Lifevine's efforts is a real winemaking team. Ed Killian has been making award-winning wines in Sonoma County, CA, for more than 30 years after graduating from UC Davis with a master's degree in Enology. Matt Cechovic has a decade of experience making wine organically and with sustainable practices in the Willamette Valley. Every wine Lifevine makes is tested and approved by sommelier Brett Zimmerman, also known as the "Sustainable Somm."

This Chardonnay is pale gold with silver edges and green highlights. The light filtration from the winemaking process adds a beautiful hazy appearance. Golden delicious apple, yellow peach, nectarine, and pineapple are prominent on the nose, and as the wine opens up, you get a tropical note at the end. This wine has intense minerality and secondary flavors of spice, vanilla, and caramel from its time in oak. This Chardonnay will pair well with poached or grilled fish, fresh herb pesto atop pasta or bread, roasted almonds, and white pizza with creamy cheese.
