Endroit is an established winery in the Valle del Loncomilla district of Chile's Maule Valley. They formed an alliance with wine titan, Bronco Wine Company, assuring their distribution worldwide, as well as having a well-established partner to consult on vineyard management and winemaking.

Chile is 2,700 miles long, about the same distance from the east coast to west coast of the United States, but only 50 miles wide. It is a land of many different climates and soils, from volcanoes, glaciers, and deserts to oceans. This gives the Chileans ample climates in which to grow grapes.

The Spanish took over Chile centuries ago and there are now around 13 million residents in this country, both of Spanish and Native American descent. Many of those Spanish immigrants brought grape vines with them. The rest is history.

Fortunately, Chile is very mountainous, and all the wine areas average 3,000 feet above sea level because the country's proximity to the equator makes ground zero too hot to grow grapes successfully. The higher elevation not only provides a cool climate, but ample water from the runoff of the Andes, which is snow-packed all year round. Our selection has just a kiss of oak to provide a vanilla nuance, but it is primarily a fruit and character driven offering. The guava and peach tones would be perfect with smoked ham, an oyster stew or goat cheese filled jalapenos.
