The source of Austria's finest botrytized sweet wines, Burgenland covers a lofty portion of Austria's wine producing real estate. This is a dark garnet-red marriage of 40% Blaufrankisch, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, and 10% Syrah. An Interestingly layered nose with hints of wild berries, cranberries and dark cherries eluminate. Delicate aromas arise from 18-month aging in 225 litre oak barrels. The palate reveals an elegant cassis, full of finesse.
