Located a few miles south of Florence lies the Collazzi estate in Tuscany, where they produce the Liberta, or "freedom," dei Collazzi, an IGT red wine consisting of 50% Merlot, 25% Syrah and 25% Sangiovese. The vineyard totals 27.2 acres and the soil has clay that is rich in limestone and is abundantly rocky. In 2019, the vine's age is around 22 years old. The blend is balanced and velvety with soft cherry and nutmeg palate followed by smooth, enduring tannins. This straight-shooting super Tuscan is great for grilled meats or sausage.
