Boillot began his harvest on August 25 with the 2018 Volnay 1er Cru Les Angles, and the wine has turned out beautifully, soaring from the glass with a lovely bouquet of cherries, dark berries, peonies, orange rind and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, it's velvety and succulent, concluding with gentle back-end grip that will round out with additional elevage.
