Red Blend, 2015. Trinchero Forte (3L)

Dense ruby purple in color, this wine reveals abundant aromas of huckleberry compote, creamy vanilla and espresso. This wine is bold on the palate with velvety tannins that are fuzzy like a peach's skin. Intense flavors of ripe black fruits and sweet baking spice are complemented with hints of lavender and graphite. The wine has a long finish with firm, yet comforting tannins. Blended with other Bordeaux varietals, the Malbec piece of this blend makes Forte a very expressive, extracted, unique new-world style wine.
